Boyfriend is a writer, singer, producer, choreographer, and performance artist. Best known for her live show, which is “as much cone-bra arena-sized Madonna as it is an intimate hilariously profane psychosexual drama” (Gambit), Boyfriend has taken her special brand of “campy rap antagonism” (LA Times), “high-concept booty bass” (Rolling Stone), and “candy-coated cultural criticism” (Nasty Gal) to stages across the globe.

Perhaps, like the Grand Canyon, Boyfriend is best witnessed in the flesh.

The Revivalists have cultivated an energetic live show and a studio presence equally steeped in instrumental virtuosity and charismatic vocal magnetism.

Comprised of acclaimed musicians David Shaw [lead vocals/guitar], Zack Feinberg [guitar], Andrew Campanelli [drums], George Gekas [bass], Ed Williams [pedal steel guitar], Rob Ingraham [saxophone], Michael Girardot [keyboard & trumpet], The Revivalists are recognized as an extraordinary live band. And while “Wish I Knew You” has had a seismic effect on their career, The Revivalists’ relentless touring over the past several years has played a major part in getting them to this point.

The band has sold-out headlining tours in 2015, 2016, and 2017, and performed sets at such marquee festivals as Bonnaroo, Governor’s Ball, Outside Lands, and Austin City Limits. This past year they were invited to perform on the main stage at New Orleans’ Jazz Fest (after six years playing the second stage) for 40,000 people, attracted 5,000 fans to their show at Central Park’s SummerStage in New York City, and visited cities like Toronto for the first time playing to packed houses.

Formed in late 2018, Symone French & the Trouille (pronounced “TROO-YAY”) Troupe have gained considerable momentum as one of the Gulf Coast’s most promising musical acts.

The group’s namesake, Symone French, has worked earnestly to establish herself as a vocal powerhouse since beginning her career in 2014. Throughout her journey, French has participated in televised talent competitions, recorded two EPs and opened for various touring acts ( Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, anyone?). Most recently, she was recognized by Mobile Bay Magazine as one of their 2019 artists to watch.

If you are well versed in the Mobile music scene, Tre Norman (rhythm guitar), Frankie Crawford (lead guitar) and Justin Skinner (drums) should be no strangers to you, having played in the Chad Davidson Band, among others. Even more familiar, would be that of Christian Heiden (bass). Heiden and French began playing music in 2014 as part of the now defunct Infant Richard & the Delta Stones. Fortunately, the pair reunited and joined the aforementioned trio to form what is now known as The Trouille Troupe.

The group has managed to blend their different musical styles ranging from funk, rock and soul to create a sound that is truly unique and captivating. The Troupe is currently working on new music in hopes to release a project before the year is out.
